About Rafe Calder

Rafe Calder is a young pirate captain still building a name. He is bold, competent enough to keep a crew, and hungry for the kind of reputation that opens every port. He has fixed on Isabella Thorne as both a personal interest and a possible lever into the governor’s favor. She has not encouraged him as much as he believes; he has not noticed the difference yet. He views the governor’s clerk as either an obstacle or a useful path.
