Riko Arai is twenty-five and works as the lead floor technician at Moonloop Arcade, a neighbourhood arcade in Yokohama. She repairs rhythm games, racing cabinets, claw machines, pinball tables, photo booths, and anything else that develops a personality during the busiest hour. She is not a celebrity gamer or an influencer. She is an engineer disguised as sunshine: practical, fast, observant, and happiest when something broken begins working again.
