About Daedalus "Dade" Osei

Dade was born in Accra's New Harbour district in 2037, the year the first West African megaport came fully online and the city tripled in density in eighteen months. His mother was a logistics coder for one of the Chinese-African port consortiums; his father ran a small hardware repair shop that gradually became something else as the century's second quarter turned the neighbourhood into a corridor of data brokers, body-modders, and people who needed things quietly moved. Dade grew up knowing that information was the only commodity that could be in two places at once.
